I just read online that Bridesmaids has surpassed Sex and The City as the highest grossing r-rated female comedy with $152.9 million domestic box office gross! If you remember my earlier post urging people (especially women) to go see the film this means that hopefully we will start to see more female r-rated comedies like this one.
Congrats to Judd Apatow and all of the crew involved in making the film!
